Margaret Huettl, Assistant Professor in History and Ethnic Studies, poses in front of a screen shot of the redesigned Oregon Trail game. Huettl consulted in the redesign. The redesign was to bring the game up to modern standards and root out historical inaccuracies and cliches about Native American culture. Huettl has Lac Courte Oreilles tribal ancestors.
