Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus

Husker scientists Hiep Vu, associate professor with UNL’s Department of Animal Science, and Sarah Sillman, assistant professor with UNL’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the Nebraska Veterinary Diagnostic Center, have received a $627,000 federal grant to study possibilities for boosting immunity against a viral disease posing a major threat to the swine industry worldwide.
