Sheep wait their turn in the ring wearing more colorful coats than their usual wool. These sheep were allowed to be penned in the sheep barn because the owners were also showing goats later in the day. The Platte County Fair in Columbus, NE, changed this year because of COVOD-19. Each livestock/animal show is a “show and go” format where 4-H'ers don't stay in the livestock barns as is tradition but transport their animals on the day of the show and work out their livestock trailers. Participants must wear a mask in the show ring. July 10, 2020. Photo by Craig Chandler / University Communication.
