Hilary Havlik and Chris White drape padding onto the head and horns of a life-size model of Bison latifrons so it can be carried to the fourth floor of Morrill Hall. Bison latifrons is an extinct species of bison that lived in North America during the Pleistocene epoch. B. latifrons thrived in North America for approximately 200,000 years, but became extinct some 20,000–30,000 years ago, at the beginning of the Last Glacial Maximum. December 18, 2018.
