Abdul Hamid, a nutrition science doctoral student, speaks with Discovery Days visitors Igra Igbal and Rajendra Maharjan about how scents can be wildly different based on the person smelling them. Hamid sprayed small amounts of each chemical into small paper cups to show how Igbal and Maharjan could smell completely different scents from the same substance – like synthetic musk, which smelled delightful to Igbal and didn't smell at all for Maharjan.
