Professors Chris Tuan and Lim Nguyen have developed a conductive concrete that shields against electromagnetic waves, meaning can protect critical electronics, power grid controls, etc. So instead of being used for a road or bridge, as earlier stories explained, this application involves building structures using their patented concrete mix.
The technology is being licensed to a Florida company. November 3, 2016. Photo by Craig Chandler / University Communication.
