201111 Roll Call 236

Joe Brownell, Director of the Military and Veteran Success Center, begins the roll call by reading the names of Nebraskans killed in World War 1. Volunteers read the names of nearly 5,000 Nebraskans who have perished in wars since World War I. The University of Nebraska–Lincoln joined campuses nationwide in a moment of silence at 1 p.m. on Veterans Day, to honor American men and women who died in service to their country. The moment of silence is part of National Roll Call 2020, a Veterans Day remembrance. This year, ROTC also did a POW/MIA ceremony before the National Roll Call. November 11, 2020.
