190331 SundaywithaSci 13

The theme for this month’s Sunday with a Scientist, at the University Nebraska State Museum, was Motion in the Ocean with Dr. Lynne Elkins from the UNL Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Visitors got to learn more about the science that goes on underneath the water's surface, while trying their hand at seafloor mapping, discovering how lava erupts on the bottom of the ocean, exploring how Earth's plates move, and to see what hydro thermal vents are like!
